The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra are pleased to announce the Yorkshire Playday, to be held at Bradford Grammar School on Saturday 1st November 2008, between 10am and 6pm followed by an evening concert with the Yorkshire Wind Orchestra.
Whatever your age and musical background, if you are of Grade 5 standard or higher you can experience the opportunity of playing alongside some of Yorkshire's finest wind players and percussionists.
A number of different ability sessions throughout the day are planned, so if you are an experienced musician wanting a chance to play with a quality group, or an aspiring player who would benefit from playing with other musicians, the Yorkshire Playday is for you!

Tickets - £8 (£5 senior citizens & students) Accompanied under 16's free.
The Yorkshire Wind Orchestra will perform a varied programme of exciting music for wind orchestra including Martin Ellerby's Dreamscapes and Kenneth Hesketh's Danceries.
