The Nottingham Symphonic Wind Orchestra has become established as one of the country's leading groups of its kind, known for its exciting and diverse concert performances.
This award-winning group is also committed to raising money for charitable causes, and has raised over £40,000 for local and national charities since its formation in 1987.
NSWO are also active in promoting musical awareness and education for adults and children. Particularly well known are the popular Saturday morning children's concerts. These fun concerts, based on a variety of themes, are aimed at a wide age group and are educational as well as entertaining.
